Howard Johnson is a seasoned entrepreneur driven by a clear vision: to build and sustain enterprises that meaningfully contribute to economic growth and community development.
He is an engaging public speaker and facilitator who regularly participates in business discussions, networking events, entrepreneurial platforms, and motivational engagements. Through his business and leadership stage show, ‘Like A Boss’, he creates conversations around entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal growth insights. Howard served as the founding Chairperson of the EduSA (the language school association) and co-founded the SAYTC (South African Youth Travel Confederation). His commitment to industry development extended to his role as Chairperson of SATSA Western Cape for three years, during which he also served on the national board. In addition, he chaired the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) Advisory Committee on Tourism, contributing to academic–industry alignment and the advancement of tourism education.
He is increasingly dedicated to empowering emerging entrepreneurs through public speaking engagements, strategic advisory work, and targeted training interventions—leveraging decades of experience to inspire sustainable business growth and responsible leadership.
